Join the “I am ASCB” movement

ASCB’s Public Information Committee has launched an effort to showcase life scientists just like you in
short self-produced videos. The purpose of I am ASCBvideos is to display the diversity and breadth of ASCB members with respect to their background, research interests, vocation, and career aspirations. You can watch five inspiring videos on the ASCB
YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/AmericanSocietyforCellBiology) or on the ASCB membership page (https://www.ascb.org/membership/).

ASCB invites members from all career levels who would like to introduce themselves and answer the following three questions to create a brief video no more than 2 minutes in length. We would love to hear (and see) you!

  1. What is your specific area of research? Try to make this as relatable to the general public as possible.
  2. What inspired your interest in cell biology?
  3. What value do you get from ASCB?

If you are interested in being featured in this series, please enter the above information along with your CV here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScARqlKsDZDeozaqHvq-zasQ7ZjvAkxtHREcGim3oFVale4kA/viewform). You will be contacted regarding a potential video production after an initial review of your material. Final video editing will be conducted by Mary Spiro, ASCB Science Writer & Social Media Manager. If you have any questions or need help, please send a message to i.am.ascb.info@gmail.com.
