Meeting Support Opportunities

The ASCB welcomes support for a variety of its Annual Meeting events. Such support helps the ASCB to maintain low attendee registration fees and offers companies, government agencies, and nonprofits a way to demonstrate their support of the Society and the research it represents.

Support is welcome at any dollar level. Sole support and shared support opportunities are available for each element of the Annual Meeting listed. Commitments are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; however, ASCB reserves the right to accept full or sole support in preference to a shared or partial support commitment that may have been received earlier.

Recognition

All supporters are acknowledged in advance publications to the extent possible, so the earlier you make your support commitment, the greater the visibility you will receive. In addition, supporters are recognized with distinctive onsite signage. Supporters of scientific sessions are acknowledged on signs outside session halls, and by the chair of sessions from the dais. Annual Meeting supporters are also featured in "thank you" acknowledgments placed in the ASCB Newsletter and Annual Meeting Program, and on the ASCB Annual Meeting website. All supporters who provide $1,000 or more by applicable deadlines receive the following benefits:

  • Priority in assignment of exhibit space
  • "ASCB Supporter" sign for their booth
  • "ASCB Supporter" ribbons for booth workers

Support amounts listed represent a total amount that may be provided in part by multiple supporters or the cost of sole support. In the case of multiple supporters for one opportunity, supporters may approve who they will partner with to provide total support. We also welcome your suggestions of other support opportunities. For detailed information, contact Ed Newman.
