UPDATE: ASCB, Others File Brief Opposing Administration Request to Halt Judge’s Ruling

The ASCB and three other life science organizations filed an amicus brief opposing the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) request to pause the judicial ruling in American Public Health Association v. NIH, pending its appeal.

The initial ruling by the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts struck down the NIH actions that resulted in the in termination of grants supporting young scientists. The four societies also filed a brief in support of the original case.
