Apply for funds to organize a scientific meeting

BAMOB Poster Session 2017

Early Career Meetings help foster a sense of a local scientific community, providing students and postdocs with additional opportunities to present their work. They are also great places to get people together for collaboration and new contacts.

It’s not difficult to apply for an Early Career Meeting Grant. To apply for funding to host an Early Career Meeting, go to this link and submit your proposal by June 20. Awards can be as much as $1,500.

Did you know that ASCB has been supporting Early Career Meetings since 2012, to promote scientific networking and mentor young scientists? You can read about previous Early Career Meetings that have been funded here and here.
