Online with LSE: Exploring How Students Reason about Complex Processes

EEScott

This session of Online with LSE hosts Emily Scott, a Research Scientist in the Department of Biology at the University of Washington, to explore how students reason about complex processes encountered in everyday life (e.g., Why does a blister form when a person touches a hot pan?). She will discuss her work developing a framework to characterize how students explain complex processes and its implications for instructors.
