Cell Bio Sponsored Scientific Sessions Program

ASCB welcomes scientific, corporate, and non-profit organizations to host scientific sessions during Cell Bio. These sessions offer an opportunity for organizations to present scientific content, showcase thought leadership, and engage directly with the global cell biology community. These sessions require payment of a host fee and compliance with ASCB guidelines to ensure high scientific integrity and attendee value.

Proposals are reviewed and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Submit no later than July 15, 2026

Key Features:

  • Typical Capacity: Approximately 100–300 attendees
  • Brand Visibility: Listed in the official online meeting program and mobile app with the organization’s name, session title, speakers, and abstracts.
  • Scientific Freedom: Content is curated by the sponsoring organization, pending ASCB approval
  • Audience: Open to all registered conference attendees.
  • Support: On-site logistics support from ASCB staff

Important Dates

  • By End of May - Submission Form Opens
  • July 15 - Submission Deadline. Proposals reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis.
  • July 30 - Latest notification of Acceptance
  • August 25 - Payment & Contract Due
  • September 9 - Final Session Details Due

Eligibility

  • Organizations eligible to host a sponsored session include, but not limited to:
    • Academic consortia or research initiatives
    • Scientific societies or non-profit foundations
    • Life science, biotech, and biomedical companies
    • Government or regulatory agencies
    • Advocacy and patient-centered groups
    • Scientific publishers or journals
    • Core facilities, technology platforms, or research networks
  • Organizations must secure funding before submitting a proposal.

All formats are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are assigned based on availability, room inventory, and alignment with the broader Cell Bio program schedule.

Format #1: Saturday Scientific Sessions

Provides organizations with flexibility to create customized programming and reach attendees arriving early for the meeting.

Additional Notes:

General Operational Notes for All Session Formats

  • Session inventory is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • All catering must be coordinated through ASCB.
  • Speakers and moderators participating in sessions must comply with Cell Bio registration policies.
