Abstract Information

Share Your Science with the Cell Biology Community

Presenting your work at Cell Bio 2026 is a powerful way to share your findings, gain feedback, and connect with peers who are shaping the future of the field. All abstracts that meet the submission guidelines and select "poster" as a presentation type will be accepted.

ASCB invites abstract submissions reporting new research across all areas of cell biology and related fields. We welcome contributions from scientists and trainees in academia, industry, government, and education.

Abstracts are not peer-reviewed but are published online before the meeting and as a citable supplement to the Q1 2027, issue of Molecular Biology of the Cell.

NEW! Digital Poster Program: Expand Your Reach

ASCB’s Digital Poster Experience allows presenters to share their work both in person and virtually, before, during, and after Cell Bio 2026. All digital posters are included in an interactive online gallery for registered attendees, with live and asynchronous engagement.

Two ways to participate:

  1. In-Person Presenter - Upgrade your in-person poster to a digital format for enhanced visibility. Present in the exhibit hall during the live conference with extended remote engagement before, during, and after the conference. Includes virtual appointments with attendees for 1:1 presentations and post-conference discussion groups with other presenters in your research area.
  2. Remote Presenter - For researchers who cannot attend in person, present remotely, engage in scheduled virtual appointments with attendees for 1:1 presentations, and post-conference discussion groups with other presenters in your research area.
Cost: $155 Add-On Fee, plus conference registration fees (varies)
