Online with LSE: Exploring the Anatomy of a Research Study – Behind the Scenes of a Qualitative Research Study with Strong Theoretical Framing

This session of Online with LSE will feature a discussion with Rebecca Price, Clark Coffman, Danielle Jensen-Ryan, and Jennifer Jo Thompson.

Through annotations of published articles, LSE’s The LSE feature – Exploring the Anatomy of a Research Study – aims to support biologists and other scholars interested in education research, but unfamiliar with the field’s approaches and methods, through annotations of published articles. In this session of Online with LSE, we will meet the co-authors of the feature and learn more about their approach to annotating LSE research articles. Additionally, we’ll meet the authors of an annotated article – Becoming a “Science Person”: Faculty Recognition and the Development of Cultural Capital in the Context of Undergraduate Biology Research – about the experience of having their LSE article annotated and highlighted.
