The Public Policy Committee seeks
at least one member from each
state to serve as a member of the
ASCB Public Policy Advocacy Team.

Team members will:

  • Receive special briefings on critical science policy issues
  • Serve as points of contact in their state to work with the Public Policy Committee
  • Help set up and lead meetings with Representatives and Senators
  • Organize their colleagues in support of biological research
