A degree in biosciences can open many more doors than people realize, especially in the current economic climate. The value of biosciences in industry and the many roles biosciences-educated professionals can play in traditional and nontraditional jobs in industrial arenas cannot be overemphasized. We will discuss job opportunities available today, and the essential search techniques that are needed to find and grasp these opportunities. Profiles of bioscientists in industry and in traditional/nontraditional occupations will be included.
