Volunteer Opportunities

Undergraduate and predoctoral students may volunteer time (up to five hours) in exchange for complimentary Annual Meeting registration. Priority is given to students who are ASCB members or member applicants. Students must pay their registration fees upfront. The cost of registration will be refunded (in the manner in which payment was received) within 60 days after the meeting. To sign up to become a volunteer, students must check the box on Step 3 of the registration form. If you are selected as a volunteer, you will receive an email with an assignment and more information.

Interested ASCB postdoctoral members will be considered if volunteer slots are available after student members are placed. ASCB postdoc members should contact Alison Harris at aharris@ascb.org to be placed on a volunteer waitlist. Postdocs who are not ASCB members or are not member applicants will not qualify for selection
