Visitors with Disabilities

If you have a disability or a special need that may affect your participation in the Annual Meeting, please check the appropriate box when registering. ASCB staff will contact you before the Annual Meeting to discuss your requirements. The ASCB cannot ensure the availability of appropriate accommodations without at least 10 days' prior notification of need.

Denver offers numerous services for disabled travelers to make your visit more pleasant, beginning with your arrival at the Denver International Airport (DEN). The DEN shuttle buses with wheelchair lifts operate between the outlying car parks and the terminal. Disabled spaces are available in all parking garages and car parks close to the airport. Other facilities include accessible toilets and TTY telephones for people with hearing impairments. Wheelchair transportation information can be found on the airport's website: www.flydenver.com.

From wheelchair-friendly trails and attractions to easy-to-use transportation services for the physically impaired, Denver is a city that can be enjoyed by all. Additionally, Denver's flat downtown is easy to navigate for disabled visitors.

Wheelchair-Accessible Information
All of Denver's Regional Transportation District's SkyRide buses are wheelchair accessible. SuperShuttle, Yellow Taxi, and Metro Taxi have wheelchair-accessible vehicles and can provide assistance for limited numbers with prior notice and reservation.
