About the Image & Video Library

CellBASE is a comprehensive, multimedia-based web resource covering all aspects of cell biology. It contains innovative and authoritative digital resources selected by scientists and librarians to promote cell biology research and education.

Research scientists can link easily to information within 12 major cell biology specialty areas. They can navigate quickly to resources aimed at providing access to the tools that cell biologists need to make new discoveries, including model organism and genome databases, software, reagents, imaging tools, homepages of research labs in their field, and image and video galleries.

Educators at all levels have access to categorized cell biology teaching resources, including web sites, instructional tools, course curricula, PowerPoint slides, and more.

The site incorporates ASCB's well-received CBE — Life Sciences Education journal, iBioSeminars, CellWeb and the ASCB Image & Video Library as well as a variety of links to textbooks, images and videos. The site also has links to online groups and social networking tools specifically designed for the cell biology community, including forums, blogs, and wikis.

With CellBASE, research scientists, educators, and students have a roadmap to the virtual world of cell biology information resources. To get an overview of the site and navigate between sections, go to the Site Map, which is linked from the header of each page.

We would like to thank our supporters for their generous support of this project.
