BART Transfers for ASCB
Sustainable Airport Transfers

Go Green from SFO and OAK

ASCB is pleased to recommend BART as the only sustainable transfer from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). We suggest that you Go Green by taking BART from SFO or OAK airport. BART from the airport is fast and costs much less then taxis and shuttles. The trip on BART only takes ½ hour and BART downtown stations are within ½ to 3 blocks of ASCB conference hotels. Plus, taking BART keeps 20 pounds of CO2 out of the atmosphere and reduces our conferences carbon footprint. Take BART and help sustain the local community that’s hosting ASCB this year.

BART is providing ASCB with a quick and easy way to get your round-trip (RT) transfer from SFO to San Francisco. If you're arriving at SFO go to this ASCB page to get a round-trip SFO transfer voucher for only $18.50. Print the voucher, take it with you and exchange it at SFO for a BART ticket. It's that easy. The BART voucher desk is conveniently located just outside the SFO station entrance. See the voucher for directions.

Go to the AirBART shuttle stop on the traffic island outside the terminal and take the AirBART bus. Deposit $3.00 in the AirBART fare box when you board. Then purchase a round-trip ticket at the Coliseum station for $7.70. Proceed through the fare gates and up the escalator and take any San Francisco bound train. It usually takes 45 minutes to take the AirBART shuttle and BART to San Francisco. Exit at the station that’s closes to your hotel.
