Exhibitor Showcase Instructions

In an effort to provide a "hands-on" forum for exhibiting companies, the ASCB offers the Exhibitor Showcase. The Showcase is designed to give exhibitors a unique selling tool to enhance the presentation/sale of products and services. The Showcase rooms seat about 350 theater-style.

This offer is available only to companies exhibiting at the Annual Meeting. The Showcase may be rented for a minimum of two hours at a cost of $1,000 per hour. Since demand to use the Showcase is great, full nonrefundable payment for the Showcase rental must accompany application. The Exhibitor Showcase rooms will probably be occupied the hour before your presentation and the hour after your presentation. You must vacate the Exhibitor Showcase room within your timeslot.

You may serve refreshments through Savor... of the Moscone Center. Information about the food service will be available in the online Exhibitor Service Kit that will be available on or about September 4, 2102.

The demonstration is subject to the approval of the ASCB. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to submit an application and have a Showcase listed in the Annual Meeting Program is June 4, 2012. Cancellations must be received in writing by the ASCB. No refunds will be issued. A Host will be assigned to each Showcase Room to supervise its smooth operation. The Host will answer questions and direct attendees into the Showcase at the assigned time. Staff should be advised of any special needs prior to or during the presentation.

The Exhibitor Showcase is an opportunity to direct sales to those people most interested in your company's products and services. A description of your presentation will be included in the Annual Meeting Program. Additional advertising opportunities are available, including a preregistrant mailing list that may be rented from the ASCB to advertise the Showcase prior to the Annual Meeting. Distribution of flyers will be permitted from the exhibitor's booth at the Annual Meeting, and special invitations may be extended to those attendees you want most to reach.

Equipment included in the two-hour $2,000 Showcase rental fee:

  • Screen
  • LCD
  • Standing lighted lectern with microphone
  • Headtable for three with one table microphone
  • One aisle microphone
  • Timer
  • Laser pointer
  • Confidence monitor
  • MAC and PC with a mouse each
  • Video switcher
  • Standard electric
  • 6' table at back of room
  • Projectionist

Any additional AV equipment over and above what is provided is at the expense of the organizer.
