Application Deadline: September 4, 2012
Cell Biology Postdoctoral Travel Awards are available to postdocs at any stage of training and from any country to cover expenses for transportation (including air fare, train fare, personal or rental car, taxi fare, etc.). To qualify for a travel award, an applicant must be an ASCB member or have recently submitted an application for ASCB membership. The maximum award is US$300. The ASCB Education Committee will select the award winners on the basis of scientific merit, professional development, and financial need. Individuals who have previously received an ASCB Predoctoral Student Travel Award or a Minorities Affairs Committee Travel Award are eligible to apply for a Postdoctoral Travel Award. However, you cannot receive more than one type of ASCB award in any given year and you cannot apply for a postdoctoral travel award if you have received one in the past.
