Call for ASCB Ambassadors

Thank you for your interest in the ASCB Ambassadors.

This year we are requesting help in communicating occasional messages of relevance primarily for young scientists at your institute through emails, email listserv, and social media. Examples of information might include new ASCB benefits/programs that are particularly relevant for young scientists, science advocacy efforts, new iBioSeminars/iBioMagazine videos, and career/mentoring information on the website or in MBoC. This is not a major commitment of time. We will make sure that we only call on you occasionally.

We will keep you informed of the behind-the-scenes ideas and developments at ASCB with a special biannual email (you can expect the first in mid-February).We also view the ASCB Ambassadors as a resource for soliciting feedback on how we can improve the Society, the Annual Meeting, and our outreach programs. So, please, if you have ideas, let us know. For those of you able to attend the 2012 Annual Meeting in San Francisco on Dec. 15-19, we plan to invite you to a special event. Stay posted!
