Visa & Passport Information

Depending on the country where your travel will originate, a valid passport and/or visa may be required to attend the meeting. Visa rules can be complex and can change on short notice. Should you require a letter of invitation to the meeting, please register for the meeting and select the checkbox on the registration form indicating your request for a letter of invitation.

For those who need to apply for visa, we advise you to make your meeting registration at least 2 months before the meeting and be sure to select the checkbox on the registration form indicating your request for a letter of invitation. We advise you to apply for your visa well in advance as visa application may take some time depending on such factors as the situation in the embassy or consulate concerned and the content of an application.

For U.S. citizens traveling to Japan, a passport is required, but a visa is not required for tourist or business stays up to 90 days.
